My professional experience in the NGO/INGO sector and the Ministry of Education and Science has provided me with managerial skills and know-how and I can be proud of nine years of work where I was responsible for establishment and coordination of environmental education programs in my country.
Being Program Coordinator of the national Program “Integration of the environmental education in the Macedonian educational system“I helped in establishment of the program on national level. This is a rear example of a Program that was created by national NGO, firstly as a pilot project that later on, after 15 years of constant upgrade, entered the official national curricula as obligatory.
I’m experienced in implementing national and international projects, grant seeking and grant writing and have proven experience in establishing cooperation and conducting project activities with international umbrella non-profit organizations. While working on international programs, campaigns and being part of the Foundation for Environmental Education I have upgraded my knowledge on topics such as sustainable development, educational and environmental policies in general.
Coming from a volunteering background, Andrei mixes his interest for public speaking, training and management together with IT Skills in order to shape up the new face of Engineering.
My name is Anđela Bogdan and I’m Civil Engineer from Croatia.

is a Highway Engineer and a certified Road Safety Auditor experienced in designing and managing highway, road safety, cycling, traffic, transport modelling and drainage schemes. He works for WSP Birmingham, UK and has acquired European Chartership status (Eur.Ing). He studied Civil Engineering (Dip.Ing) in Thessaloniki, Greece and Transport Planning and Engineering (MSc) in Leeds, UK.
Since March 2014 he is involved with the ACE in various positions, escalating from Midlands Progress Network (PN) Chair (Progress Network is ACE’s branch for those below 35) to UK PN Chair which also meant being a Member of the ACE’s Board of Directors. Subsequently, he was elected to be a Task Force Member of EYE during the Copenhagen Council meeting (11/2016) and was re-elected in Luxembourg (01/2018).
He became involved with EYE as he thinks that everyone should be prepared to operate in a united European market and sharing experiences, knowledge and cultures can only be beneficial to one another. Being limited in the boundaries of each country has no position in the modern economies. Continuous personal development and building personal networks are necessary to cope on the modern world. Although being a permanent resident of the UK, he considers that Brexit will be of detriment to most parties and is necessary to act as one within Europe.
studied Civil Engineering with a focus on dredging. Currently, he is doing a pre-master in Technology and Operations Management at the university of Groningen.
He is a board member of the Young KIVI Engineers, which is a department of the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers. The Young KIVI Engineers are hosting the EYE conference of May 2019, which will be my main focus within the Task Force.
Dear Colleagues and friends,
My name is Temenuga Georgieva and it is a great pleasure for me to introduce myself as a member of the Task Force (TF) of EYE, currently taking the position of the Treasurer.
After several years being a member of our national young organization (FNTS), I joined as a volunteer in EYE in June 2015. I consider this a great opportunity and I’m proud to be part of it. In the EYE family I found very positive and friendly engineers. This was enough of a motivation for me to work harder and in October 2015 I was elected as a TF member.
I believe that a good engineer should have a wide overview and background of knowledges. Following this philosophy I studied my bachelor’s degrees both in Geology and in Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology simultaneously. Then I continued my education with two masters – Economic Geology and Engineering Geology. At the same time, I had the chance to be part of a big international company and gain practical experience in mining of raw materials.
I’m pleased with my work as TF members. My first conference was Lisbon@2015 and for me it was an exciting event. During my time in Lisbon I met people from different fields of engineering and I made new relations, both professional and friendly. Since that time I am always looking forward to meet my new European friends during the EYE events. Therefore, at the moment I am part of the organizing team for the next EYE conference which will take place in Sofia in spring 2018!
Sincerely,
Temenuga
is currently studying Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Victoria previously studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics at the Technical University of Braunschweig. She gained experience abroad in the course of an exchange semester in Scotland, a Fulbright workshop in the USA and an internship in the Netherlands.
She has been engaged in the Association of German Engineers (VDI) for three years by now and organised several excursions as well as coordinated the professional events of the young engineers and students working group as the Head of Professional Events.
I look forward improving the communication between the various European Young Engineering Societies and help EYE grow.
studied Mechanical Engineering and is now doing Ph.D. with focus on torque calibration methods at the National Metrology Institute of Germany. She was president of the EYE@Hannover in April 2016 and got elected as Task Force Member in 2017. Since 2011, she is a member of the Association of German Engineers.
While studying a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering in Germany, Frederik did in parallel an apprenticeship with the Bayer AG as a Chemical Production Technician, for which he worked later as a Reliability Engineer and a Process Improvement Engineer in Germany and the United States. He coupled the engineering knowledge with additional courses in economic business sciences via Distance learning. For his Master’s degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (with a Research stay at the University of Tokyo and courses at the Imperial College Business School) he left Germany and started to engage in the European Young Engineers in summer 2015. Currently Frederik is holding a Marie Curie Fellowship in which he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology while being a Visiting Researcher at Statoil ASA in Norway and ABB AG in Germany. At the same time he is an M.B.A. fellow at the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris, Munich and Torino.
Within the Task Force I hold the position of the Deputy Secretary General. My task is to support the Secretary General to lead the organization. Furthermore, I focus on the strategic development of EYE, to expand into new activities and to grow the network sustainably.
